Beta status

FitCheck is an early-access / beta product focused on women's formal, cocktail, and wedding-guest dress recommendations. Features may change, break, or be withdrawn. Shopping-history import and other Personal Shopper capabilities may be incomplete or unavailable in some environments until explicitly enabled.

Eligibility

You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction and able to use FitCheck lawfully. The product is intended for personal shopping use by adults.

License

FitCheck grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the beta for personal, non-commercial shopping assistance. You may not copy, scrape at scale, reverse engineer, or resell FitCheck except as allowed by law.

Recommendations are informational

Similar Styles, Recommended For You, filters, and related results are informational tools. They are not a guarantee that a garment will fit, flatter, arrive as pictured, or meet event requirements. Always verify details on the retailer's site before purchasing.

Sizing and fit estimates

Size suggestions are estimates based on measurements you provide and available retailer size charts or product metadata. Charts can be incomplete or outdated. FitCheck may omit a size recommendation when reliable data is unavailable. Virtual Try On is optional and is not sizing evidence.

AI Virtual Try On

Optional Try On uses a third-party AI image provider (currently FASHN) to generate a simulated appearance. Results may be inaccurate, unrealistic, or unavailable. Daily usage limits and feature flags may apply. Do not rely on Try On images as proof of fit, color accuracy, or fabric behavior.

Retailer information

Product names, images, prices, sizes, stock, shipping, and policies are controlled by retailers and may change without notice. FitCheck may show catalog or extracted metadata that is incomplete. Live retailer pages can differ from what FitCheck displays.

Affiliate and outbound links

Some "Shop now" or product links may use affiliate or tracked URLs when configured in the catalog. FitCheck may earn a commission if you purchase after following such a link, at no extra cost to you. Link behavior depends on retailer and catalog configuration and may sometimes be a direct retailer URL.

Connected third-party services

If you connect Google / Gmail, you authorize FitCheck to access your Gmail data as described in the Privacy Policy (read-only, for fashion shopping-history import). Google's terms also apply to your Google account. FitCheck does not send or modify email. You may disconnect at any time.

Other processors (hosting, database, analytics, Try On) help operate FitCheck as described in the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to access another shopper's data or credentials
• Abuse APIs, scrape FitCheck aggressively, or disrupt the service
• Upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content
• Use FitCheck to violate retailer, Google, or other third-party terms
• Misrepresent FitCheck recommendations as professional advice

Intellectual property

FitCheck branding, software, and original content are owned by FitCheck or its licensors. Retailer product names, images, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. You retain rights to content you submit, and grant FitCheck a license to use feedback and uploaded Try On inputs as needed to operate and improve the beta features you use.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. FitCheck does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, accurate retailer data, or that recommendations will meet your needs.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FITCHECK AND ITS CONTRIBUTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. FITCHECK'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FITCHECK FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (CURRENTLY OFTEN $0 FOR THE BETA) OR (B) USD $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, limits apply to the fullest extent allowed.

Termination

You may stop using FitCheck at any time and may disconnect Gmail or clear browser data. FitCheck may suspend or discontinue beta access, features, or accounts (including durable shopper records) at any time, including for abuse, security, or product changes.

Changes

We may update these terms as the beta evolves. The "Last updated" date will change when we do. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms where permitted by law.
